Unbeatable views

We had a wonderful stay at Auberge in Camps Bay. Elena and Chantel are truly exceptional hosts – very friendly, welcoming and always attentive without ever being intrusive. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean, and our room as well as the common areas were very well maintained. The view from the property is fantastic, and enjoying breakfast with that scenery was a real highlight. The breakfast itself was delicious and varied, and the two ladies were always very accommodating with any requests. The driveway is a bit steep at first, but you quickly get used to it. Once you are up, there is just enough space for parking and turning the car.

The location is fantastic: directly at the foot of the Twelve Apostles and Table Mountain, at the top edge of Camps Bay. The view is beautiful. When it's very windy - as in our case - it can be a bit noisy because the wind rattles at the windows. Breakfast was very good, I loved the muesli with yogurt and fresh fruits. I would particularly like to highlight that we were able to have an early breakfast at 5:00 in the morning on two occasions, because we had to set off early each time for a hike. In my opinion, that's not a given.
